Black Nazareth No.3 is a lagered corn wine genever — commissioned by the Schiedam hard rock band Black Nazareth and distilled by Serious Bee Distillers. It arrives in a cool black 0.5 litre jug, built to be held, poured, and remembered.

Genuine Dutch genever — not gin, not jenever-flavoured spirit. The real thing, from the city that invented it.

The History

Distilled the World.

In the 17th and 18th centuries, Schiedam was the jenever capital of the world. Over 400 distilleries and 300 malt wine distilleries lined its canals. The famous Schiedam windmills — the tallest in the world — were built to grind grain for the industry. The city breathed alcohol. It still does.

Black Nazareth No.3 is not a novelty — it is a continuation. A hard rock band from Schiedam reaching back into the blackened industrial heritage of their city and pulling something worthy of it forward.

1600s
Schiedam establishes itself as the jenever capital of the world. Hundreds of distilleries line the canals.
1700s
The famous Schiedam windmills — tallest in the world — are built to grind grain for the distilling industry.
2017
Black Nazareth forms in Schiedam — dark heavy rock with the city's industrial DNA in every note.
2021
